Knowledge Worker Kit
Thirteen topics covering the whole life of a knowledge worker: clarity, habits, career, learning, PKM, projects, planning, tasks, focus, development, control, organization, work. A reference, not a novel.
What it is
A guide, growing since 2024, on becoming and staying a top-tier knowledge worker. Thirteen sections:
- Clarity
- Habits, routines, systems, processes and methods
- Career management and anticipation
- Learning
- Personal Knowledge Management and journaling
- Projects organization
- Planning and prioritization
- Task management
- Focus, attention, time management and action
- Personal development
- Control
- Personal organization
- Work
It also bundles the Obsidian Starter Kit, the Starter Course, the PKM Library and every workshop recording. If you bought KWK, you own all of those. Check your library.
Where to find it
Bought on Gumroad or the store: your Gumroad library. The guide and every bonus (vault, course, library, recordings) sit next to each other in the library. The guide itself is on my notes site: Knowledge Worker Kit - Overview.
Knowii member: the Knowledge Worker Kit space has a ‘Where to find the guide’ lesson (Knowledge Master). KWK buyers are invited to Knowii too (Explorer level plus the KWK spaces); the paid event archives need a Builder or Master tier. Knowii members get their invites from me personally, within 24 to 48 hours of subscribing. Nothing yet? Write to sebastien@developassion.be.
Do this first
Read the overview, then section 5 (PKM and journaling). It connects what you just learned in the course and the kit to the daily practice. Thirty minutes.
Then
Do NOT read it front to back. Pick the section that matches the thing currently hurting:
- Can’t decide what to work on: 7 (planning) then 1 (clarity)
- Too many open loops: 8 (tasks) then 12 (personal organization)
- Busy all day, nothing to show: 9 (focus and action)
- Wondering where your career is going: 3
One section every week or two. Apply one idea from each before opening the next. The guide is evergreen and gets updated; you’ll come back to it for years.
Skip it if
Nothing hurts yet. Then bookmark it and come back when it does. It will.
What it leads to
Knowii Voice AI for faster capture, then the Journaling Deep Dive to turn section 5 into a habit.
