Journaling Deep Dive
The workshop with the most transformative potential of anything I sell. Daily notes, interstitial journaling, periodic reviews, and how they become the operating system of your life.
What it is
An 80-minute recording where I open my actual system: how I use daily notes, what interstitial journaling is and why it beats every “write for 20 minutes every morning” advice, how weekly, monthly and yearly reviews compound, and how all of it feeds the knowledge base. Comes with the full system diagram (took me days to draw) and 40+ linked notes from my vault explaining every concept I mention.
When customers ask me where to start, I usually say here. Unless you already know interstitial journaling. Then you know why.
Where to find it
Bought on Gumroad or the store: your Gumroad library. Video, diagram and notes in the library.
Knowii member: Events and Office Hours archive, ‘Watch recording’ (Knowledge Builder and Knowledge Master). Knowii members get their invites from me personally, within 24 to 48 hours of subscribing. Nothing yet? Write to sebastien@developassion.be.
Do this first
Watch the whole thing in one go. Yes, 80 minutes. It’s a system, and systems don’t make sense in pieces.
Then, before you close the video: open your daily note and write the time and one line about what you’re about to do next. That’s interstitial journaling. You’ve started.
Then
- Seven days of interstitial entries. Timestamp, one line, move on. Every time you switch tasks. If you have Knowii Voice AI, speak them.
- End of the week: do your first weekly review using the questions from the workshop. Twenty minutes. Read what you wrote. You’ll be surprised how much you’d already forgotten.
- Print the system diagram or keep it open. Every time the practice feels heavy, check which part you’re over-doing. Usually it’s the reviews. Simplify.
Skip it if
You’ve been journaling daily for years, you already do periodic reviews, and interstitial journaling is old news. Then you’re the exception. Watch the second half for the review structure anyway.
What it leads to
Personal Organization 101, which takes the daily note you now keep and wraps tasks, projects and priorities around it.
